Windows Search Can't Find Your Files? Your File Naming May Be the Problem.

Windows Search has been blamed for slow performance and the inability to find files that the user knows are there. But the reality is that we have massive storage drives now and they contain thousands, if not millions of files. So how does Window Search index and find them? It parses filenames and their metadata to store the file's location so it can be found and retrieved  quickly. But if you don't follow some simple rules you are making it that much harder for Windows Search to help you.Here's a few suggestions to use when you want to rename files.
