Tweek your system to run your games with Fraps

I've had some questions about Fraps and it slowing down the frame rate. You should configure it to use a high speed hard drive with a good cache (preferably 64mb). Since SSD drives do not have the same lifetime expectancy as regular hard drives, If you have an SSD as your system drive, I strongly urge you to configure Fraps to save movies somewhere else than your SSD.

To help your game to run ok, check the processor affinity for each game. This ensures that all your cores are being used to run the game. Just follow the instructions in the video to check your game's setting in task manager.
